School health educators and health-care providers have identified a need for more information to effectively deliver human papillomavirus (HPV) education. In this section, you will find information, tools and resources to help plan and implement an information session based on HPV. Lesson Plans
These lesson plans introduce the human papillomavirus (HPV) and advise on protecting against it within the health promotion section and can be included either in the physical education curriculum or the health curriculum (depending on the province). The students will gain knowledge on HPV and the information will raise their awareness on the consequences of certain types of HPV.
Classroom Presentations
HPVinfo.ca offers free pdf and Powerpoint slide presentations as a resource for teaching sexual health in the classroom.
